Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a global environmental nonprofit, has recognized a leading owner and operator of a Mexican Class-A industrial real estate company on its 2020 Climate Change A List.
FIBRA Prologis (BMV:FIBRAPL 14) was recognized on the list with an A- ranking for 2018 and 2019, according to a FIBRA Prologis press release on PR Newswire.
"We are proud to be recognized by the CDP as a leader in environmental sustainability," Luis Gutierrez, CEO of Prologis Property Mexico, said in the press release. "We provide best-in-class facilities to our customers that allow for environmentally friendly, sustainable solutions in their operations, while ensuring we minimize our carbon footprint."
Carbon Disclosure Project determines the environmental impact rating of other companies. It rates companies from D to A, with A being the highest accomplishment a company can earn.
"The assessment is based on the comprehensiveness of disclosure, awareness and management of environmental risks as well as demonstration of best practices associated with environmental leadership," according to the press release.
