Two properties, which total 797,786 square feet, have been acquired by FIBRA Prologis.

FIBRA Prologis, a leading operator and owner of Class-A industrial real estate in Mexico, acquired the properties for a $54.4 million investment, according to a Cision press release.

"As of Sept. 30, FIBRA Prologis was comprised of 201 logistics and manufacturing facilities in six industrial markets in Mexico totaling 39 million square feet (3.6 million square meters) of gross leasable area," the company said in the press release.

The two properties acquired are located in Monterrey and Ciudad Juarez, according to the press release. Prologis and LEED certified Silver and Gold developed both properties.

"These fully leased properties enhance our ownership at Prologis Park Apodaca and Juarez Industrial Center," Luis Gutierrez, CEO, Prologis Mexico, said in the Cision press release. "These properties are in the most desirable sub-markets within Monterrey and Ciudad Juarez, and further evidence that nearshoring is creating demand in Mexico."
