For the second year in a row, Corporacion Inmobiliaria Vesta, S.A.B. de C.V. announced it has been included within the Dow Jones Sustainability MILA Pacific Alliance Index.The company, one of the leading pure play industrial real estate developers in Mexico, made the announcement which was effective Nov. 23 Cision reported.
It is another feather in the cap for Vesta, which is highly ranked within the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark. The ranking was a result of being one of 10 companies recognized for a significant global increase. Criteria includes leadership in governance and environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
The DJSI MILA Pacific Alliance Index measures the best in-class companies in the Mexican, Chilean, Columbian and Peruvian stock exchanges of S&P MILA Pacific Alliance Composite members that meet certain criteria compared to companies in the same industry.
Vesta currently owns 187 properties located in modern industrial parks in 15 states of Mexico. It also has multinational clients ranging in industries from medical to aerospace, food and beverage Cision reported.
