Arca Continental S.A.B de C.V issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.
Arca Continental, one of the most important Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, obtained through its La Favorita plant a Special Mention from the Ibero-American Quality Award, which recognizes the excellence of organizations in the quality and innovation of their processes .
The award is based on the Ibero-American Model of Excellence in Management and the requirement for access to it is that Ibero-American organizations have previously obtained a high quality recognition in their country of origin. Such is the case of Arca Continental and its La Favorita plant, located in Jalisco, which this year received the 2020 National Quality Award in Mexico.
The award will be presented at the XVII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Andorra in the second quarter of 2021.
This is the second consecutive year that Arca Continental has been recognized by the organization. In 2019, PetStar, the world's largest food grade PET recycling plant - led by Arca Continental -, obtained the Ibero-American Gold Level Quality Award, after having received the 2017 National Quality Award in Mexico.
This recognition reaffirms Arca Continental's commitment to its customers and consumers, to offer products made under the highest quality standards and in compliance with strict international standards.
