British Chamber of Commerce in Mexico issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.

The British Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with partner Centrica Business Solutions and the Department for International Trade; he had the honor of presenting in the webinar on October 8, Rafael Daryanani- VP of the Energy Group of the British Chamber, Country Manager Mexico, Mexssub; Florian Goutt- VP Green Power Group of the British Chamber, Country Manager of Grupo Valeco; Eric Hickert and Carlos Haro- Indirect Channels, Centrica Business Solutions Mexico; and Diego Folino- Regional Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, UK Export Finance.

First, Florian shared about a global vision of what is happening in Mexico in terms of energy. The regulations of the years 1992 (Legacies) and 2014 (Reforma-LIE) were compared, in which there are differences between the supply processes ranging from power generators to consumers. He also explained the services, financing and technologies that Grupo Valeco offers.

Eric Hickert and Carlos Haro spoke about the importance of energy strategy and energy market transitions in a few years, considering the digital revolution, responsibility for the environment and decarbonization. Similarly, they raised energy solutions, services and areas of opportunity to reduce energy costs provided by Centrica Business Solutions.

Finally, Diego Folino mentioned the services and products of UK Export Finance, focused on financing, guarantees and insurance to support UK exporters. He also highlighted the offer for foreign buyers, eligibility in transaction processes, the supplier model and the financing application process.
