Life sciences corporation Avivagen recently made two new sales of OxC-beta Livestock in Mexico and joined two Mexican livestock associations.
The Canadian company secured introductory orders of 50 kgs of OxC-beta Livestock with Forrajes Tesistan and Prolea, Businesswire reported in October. Forrajes Tesistan owns a vast holding of pig farms as well as a commercial feed mill. Owner and manager of numerous dairy, poultry and swine farms in Northern Mexico, Prolea also has a commercial feed mill.
“We are optimistic that, as we have seen with other established customers like UNAHCO (based in the Philippines), and recently with Industrias Melder (based in Mexico), these introductory orders will lead to additional and larger orders from these customers,” Avivagen CEO Kym Anthony said, Businesswire reported. “We are excited to begin establishing what we hope will be long-standing relationships with Tesistan and Prolea.”
Following a strategy for global growth, Avivagen joined the Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Alimentos Para Consumo Animal. S.C (ANFACA) and Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Alimentos, A.C. (AMEPA) in Mexico, Businesswire reported. Avivigen’s two new clients, Forrajes Tesistan and Prolea, are both members of ANFACA and AMEPA respectively.
“As one of the fastest-growing feed production markets worldwide, Mexico presents a significant ongoing opportunity for Avivagen,” Anthony said, Businesswire reported. “As the trusted and established voices of the feed and dairy industries across Northern Mexico, we anticipate that our memberships with ANFACA and AMEPA will enable us to broaden and deepen our customer base and greatly extend the reach and usage of our proprietary and industry-leading alternative to antibiotics to a much wider market throughout the country.”
Avivagen’s product, OxC-beta Livestock premix formulation, is an answer to beta-carotene deficiencies in modern livestock feed and provides an alternative to in-feed antibiotics, according to Avivagen’s website.
Currently, OxC-beta Livestock is available in the United States, Philippines, Taiwan, New Zealand, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Malaysia, as reported by Businesswire.
