With a minute of silence and a minute's applause he paid tribute to victims of Covid-19 and health personnel serving patients
Starting today, this tribute will be held every day in work centers
Personnel from various areas of Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) held a ceremony in memory of those who died from Covid-19 this noon. Also an emotional tribute was paid to staff Health Services facing the pandemic from various hospitals and clinics in the country.
In keeping with the initiative of the president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the CEO of the company production of the State, yesterday invited the entire oil community to join this act so that it can be carried out daily at Pemex facilities and work centers.
On the esplanade of the Pemex Administrative Center of Mexico City (CAP), at 12 o'clock, a minute of silence was observed to also remember the workers who were victims of this disease and later, with a minute of applause, the doctors, nurses and health personnel who dedicate their efforts every day with responsibility, discipline and solidarity.
In the same way, in different PEMEX facilities in the country this ceremony was replicated where personnel from Strategic Safeguarding, Hospitals, Refineries, Processing Centers, Storage Terminals, among others, participated in solidarity.
Present at the ceremony were the corporate director of Administration and Services, Marcos M. Herrería Alamina; the general director of Logistics, Javier Emiliano González del Villar; the corporate director of Planning, Coordination and Performance, Víctor Manuel Navarro Cervantes; the deputy director of Human Capital, Franco Octavio Veites Palavicini Pesquera; the deputy director of Health Services, Rodolfo Lehmann Mendoza; the deputy director of Communication and Marketing, Jimena Alvarado Cruz; and the deputy director of Corporate Services, Iyadalid Martínez Domínguez.
