ARCA CONTINENTAL S.A.B. DE C.V: AC and IMCC Support Doctors with Masks

Arca Continental S.A.B. de C.V. issued the following announcement on May 18.

Arca Continental, as part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry, participated in the donation of more than 1 million PET bottles that were recycled by PetStar, the recycling plant of The world's largest food-grade PET - led by Arca Continental - for the manufacture of masks for medical personnel in Mexico.

As part of the support actions that they have promoted during the health emergency, Arca Continental provided 106 thousand thermoformed 20-caliber face shields for hospital personnel treating people infected with covid-19 in the territories where it operates.

The 20 gauge thermoformed masks are very useful for medical personnel when approaching people infected with covid-19, since they have the adequate flexibility and resistance to provide the necessary protection.

Furthermore, as part of the protection and care measures implemented by the IMCC to contribute to the reduction of contagion and attention to the traditional channel, the initiative will be extended to the company's sales force and shopkeepers throughout the country.

With these actions Arca Continental reaffirms its social commitment to the communities where it operates, focusing its efforts on the sectors that require the most support during the health contingency that the country is going through, and ensuring safe operations so that consumers have drinks that allow them to stay hydrated.
