Pemex issued the following announcement on May 6.
Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) informs that the only official site for any information related to the company is: www.pemex.com. Through this page, PEMEX and its Productive Subsidiary Companies (EPS), offer employment opportunities and not through false sites, intermediaries or others.
The general population is invited not to be subject to fraud for alleged job offers from the company that circulate on social networks and, in addition, it is reiterated that the sale and purchase of tokens or places of PEMEX and its EPS is a crime, thus such as making payments or some remuneration to be included in recruitment processes.
The State-owned production company reserves the right to take legal action against whoever is responsible for spreading false information and improperly using the "PEMEX" brand. Likewise, it dissociates itself from websites that offer products or services on its behalf and insists citizens to ignore messages and information from the company that is not disseminated through its established official channels.
