PEMEX: PEMEX applies a prevention model to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 in the Sonda de Campeche

Pemex issued the following announcement on April 19.

Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), in accordance with the national strategy and according to the measures adopted by the Government of the Republic, complies with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health through the "National Day of Healthy Distance" to mitigate the spread of SARS-CoV2 virus disease (COVID -19) and comply with the Business Continuity Plan.

Likewise, a comprehensive prevention model continues to be implemented to minimize the spread of COVID-19 between the oil community and its beneficiaries in the Sonda de Campeche. Among the actions that Pemex has promoted with the personnel of the companies that provide their services in the facilities of the Marine Region, the following stand out:

Safety talks and awareness to all operational and administrative personnel on issues related to the basic measures of prevention of transmission of COVID-19, identification and management of infected personnel.

Your minister for antibacterial gel dispensers, liquid hand soap, building cleaning supplies , etc.

In stallation of access control filters for personnel with doctors for taking body temperature and applying surveys.

Installation of thermal imagers to detect body temperature.

Implementation of personnel guard changes in staggered schedules.

Periodic sanitation of facilities and means of transportation.

Through the supervisors of Pemex contracts, monitoring and control of the medical surveillance programs of all its workers.

Integration of censuses of national and foreign personnel, who have made trips in recent days, as well as the implementation of 15 days of quarantine for personnel of foreign origin.
