Arca Continental S.A.B. de C.V. issued the following announcement on March 31.
As a result of its operational strength and current financial strength to face the operational challenges that lie ahead, Standard & Poor's Global Ratings (S&P) ratified Arca Continental and AC Bebidas in the “mxAAA” level in its credit rating of the issuer and its subsidiary, being the highest, on a national scale and with a stable outlook.
The international credit rating agency reported in a statement on Friday that it had endorsed the long-term debt rating with a stable outlook. The foregoing considers that Arca Continental and AC Bebidas have a strong credit profile compared to other issuers in the country on a national scale.
"The ratification of the high S&P rating for our companies recognizes AC's solid performance in the last year, as well as its current financial and operational health to face the global and national environment in 2020", explained Emilio Marcos Charur, Executive Director of Arca Continental Administration and Finance.
Among Arca Continental's strengths and competitive advantages, Marcos Charur highlighted:
Leadership in the markets where it participates.
Diversified business portfolio, with a balance between emerging and developed markets.
More than 40% of income is generated in dollars, limiting currency fluctuation risks.
An adequate liquidity position.
