PEMEX: PEMEX Board of Directors meets in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche

Pemex issued the following announcement on March 22.

Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) held the Ordinary Session 954 of its Board of Directors in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. With this, the transfer of the ordinary sessions of this highest decision-making body to the headquarters of the company is inaugurated.

In the boardroom of the Playa Norte Building, the CEO of PEMEX, Oc tavio Romero Oropeza received the Secretary of Energy, Norma Rocío Nahle García and the independent directors Rafael Espino de la Peña, Juan José Paullada Figueroa, José Eduardo Beltrán Hernández, Humberto Domingo Mayans Canabal and Francisco Garaicochea y Petrirena, who participated in the making of 17 agreements on strategic issues of the state productive company.

The alternate directors by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Gabriel Yorio González; by the Ministry of Economy, Francisco José Quiroga Fernández; by the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, Julio César Je sús Trujillo Segura.

Among the topics addressed during more than 5 hours of work, the advances in the Annual Program of Austerity in Expenditure and Use of Resources for Fiscal Year 2020 stand out; PEMEX Financial Report; renegotiation of contracts signed in previous periods with which today profit was achieved for PEMEX; reports of the Audit, Human Resources and Remuneration committees; of the Strategy and Investments Committee, among other issues of relevance for the proper development, sanitation and rescue of the company.

In accordance with the decentralization process of the federal government instructed by the President of the Republic, the CEO of PEMEX, has established the necessary conditions so that ordinary sessions can be scheduled at said headquarters.
