Arca Continental S.A.B. de C.V. issued the following announcement on Oct. 25.
Arca Continental, SAB de CV (BMV: AC *) (“Arca Continental” or “AC”), the second largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America, announced its results for the third quarter and accumulated as of September 2019 (“3Q19” and “9M19”).
RELEVANT DATA FOR THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2019
-Net sales were 6.7% higher compared to 3Q18, reaching Ps. 42,415 million.
-EBITDA registered Ps. 8,024 million with a margin of 18.9%, an increase of 11.4% compared to 3Q18.
-Net income increased 15.5% reaching a margin of 6.4% and an amount of Ps. 2,733 million.
RELEVANT DATA FOR ACCUMULATED AS OF SEPTEMBER 2019 (9M)
-Net sales reached Ps. 121,319 million representing an increase of 4.4%.
-EBITDA reached Ps. 22,387 million with a margin of 18.5%.
-Net income grows 13.8% to Ps. 7,252 million with a margin of 6%
DIRECTOR GENERAL'S COMMENT
“The deployment of digital initiatives and operational discipline in the countries we serve, combined with a planned price / packaging structure, allowed us to increase our sales by 6.7% in the third quarter and achieve a significant growth of 11.4% in the operating flow (“EBITDA”) ”, explained Arturo Gutiérrez, General Director of Arca Continental.
