As part of the Transformation process, in an event headed by its General Director, Benjamín Salinas, this morning the TV Azteca Gender Unit was presented.
"The most audacious and most important cultural step of TV Azteca is to make a company free of all harassment and abuse," said Benjamín Salinas, who reiterated the commitment to achieve "safer work environments for all, particularly for women, who they are the engine and pillar of TV Azteca ".
The Gender Unit will attend and review all cases in which violence, harassment and discrimination practices are reported within TV Azteca; In addition, the Unit will be responsible for building violence-free environments by raising awareness among all employees.
The Gender Unit will be headed by Jaqueline L'Hoist Tapia, former president of the Council to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination in Mexico City, who has been recognized for her work as a promoter of human rights and non-discrimination.
TV Azteca is transformed into the Future to be a more agile, dynamic and courageous company, where there are environments of trust and security, free of harassment and discrimination.
