Arca Continental S.A.B. de C.V. issued the following announcement on April 29.
Arca Continental, as part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry, participated in the inauguration of the new Jugos del Valle-Santa Clara plant in the city of Lagos de Moreno Jalisco.
With the objective of promoting the agricultural sector and the development of local producers, the IMCC invests in the dairy basin of the Altos de Jalisco, which seeks to generate 3,700 jobs, reaching its maximum operation.
Thanks to its innovative equipment, with which they have the capacity to produce up to 120 billion liters per year, this new dairy plant has the potential to become the largest in the Coca-Cola System worldwide. It starts operations producing an average of 4.5 million liters per month of white milk, flavored lechitas and nectars.
In the event in which executives Arca Continental and the IMCC participated; the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, Víctor Villalobos, and the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, emphasized the importance of collaboration between government, business and communities.

During the inauguration, Galya Molinas, President of Coca-Cola de México, said that these investments reaffirm the commitment of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry with the country. While Juan Carlos Jaramillo, General Director of Jugos del Valle-Santa Clara highlighted the bet of the IMCC for the production of juices and dairy products.
"The start-up of this plant represents a commitment and a sign of confidence in one of the most important cities of Jalisco," said Enrique Alfaro. "What started here is a world class facility with an investment of more than 2 billion pesos that I am sure will continue to increase," he added.
