Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre issued the following announcement on June 22.
The World Council of Wrestling joins the grief that seizes the Luchistic family for the sensitive death of José Luis Hernández who fought under the name of El Egipcio.
Fighter of star planes who participated in the Mexican Company of Wrestling and the CMLL for about 20 years where he held the Complete National Championship and lost the mask against El Rayo de Jalisco Jr. in 1983.
On March 19, he received the Tribute to Two Legends at the Puebla Arena where he was recognized with Don Salvador Lutteroth González and which was his last appearance in a ring.
Rest in Peace José Luis Hernández, El Egipcio.
