Cemex issued the following announcement on June 21.

CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CEMEX”) (NYSE: CX) announced today that it participated in road renovations along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the most visited location at Grand National Park in Arizona, United States.

CEMEX USA supplied 4,000 cubic yards (approximately 3,000 cubic meters) of concrete for this project, which involved repaving the most frequently used roads, intersections, bus pads, sidewalks, and wheelchair ramps by the park’s more than 5 million annual visitors. Over a span of three months, CEMEX participated in the Desert View Drive project in collaboration with a local paving company, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Grand Canyon National Park Service.

“CEMEX is committed to providing a superior customer experience, enabling our clients to accomplish their goals and build their businesses,” said Eric Wittmann, West Region President of CEMEX USA. “The Desert View Drive project improved both the aesthetics and safety of Grand Canyon National Park’s roadways, and we are proud to have delivered the right concrete solution for the job.”
