Grupo Elektra, the leading specialized financial and trade services company in Latin America, announced that during the Hot Sale 2018, sales at its Omnicanal platform, Elektra.com.mx, registered growth of 400% with respect to the Hot Sale 2017.
As part of the Omni-channel strategy, during the Hot Sale 2018, 100% of the Kiosks and Tablets located in the network of more than 1,100 Stores, made transactions or served as "Click & Collect" points for purchases made on Elektra.com.mx .
The Hot Sale in its fifth edition, which had Elektra.com.mx as its main sponsor, placed eCommerce as the center of attention, since in the week of May 27 to June 3, digital shopping offers stood out in the Internet throughout Mexico to meet with numerous discounts, months without interest and banking bonuses.
The initiative that was carried out for the first time in 2014, and whose objective is to promote the use of electronic commerce in Mexico through important discounts and promotions, carried out its fifth edition in Mexico in 2018. As the main sponsor, Elektra.com.mx registered an increase in sales close to 400% compared to the Hot Sale of 2017.
Elektra.com.mx increased its online offer by 7 times, going from 5,000 products in 2017 to 35,000 during 2018, as well as including the inventory available throughout the Elektra Stores network as part of a solid Omni-channel strategy. New customers who bought online increased 3.5 times thanks to Tiendas Elektra, which strengthens digital inclusion in Mexico.
Supported by a large number of contact points -web site, mobile site, physical stores, telephone and social networks- as well as the online Elektra Credit offer, 100% of the stores participated with online transactions.

Thanks to the main sponsorship of Elektra.com.mx in the Hot Sale 2018 and the Omni-channel strategy of the same, the traffic growth in Elektra.com.mx was 342% compared to 2017.
