Orbia has been recognized with the International CSR Excellence Award for its 2024 Time4Water campaign. This global initiative focuses on promoting responsible water use across communities and ecosystems worldwide. The award acknowledges companies that integrate sustainability into their business strategies. The ceremony is scheduled for June 30, 2025, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

The Time4Water campaign was launched in March 2024 to coincide with the United Nations World Water Day. It provided opportunities for Orbia employees and local partners to engage in water security-related volunteering activities. More than 2,500 participants from over 30 countries were involved in 120 projects, including educational initiatives and clean-up efforts.

Tania Rabasa Kovacs, Orbia’s Chief Sustainability Officer, commented on the campaign’s impact: “At Orbia, we believe that bold action begins with purpose: ours is to advance life together. Time4Water showed us the power of coming together across borders, businesses and communities to protect one of our planet’s most vital resources: water.” She attributed the recognition to those who participated in making water security a shared mission.

Key highlights included an awareness race in Bogotá with over 400 volunteers, a workshop in Mexico reaching more than 450 students, and community cleanups collecting tons of trash in Lithuania, Turkey, France, among others.

Deb Butters, Orbia Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer stated: “This honor from the International CSR Excellence Awards is a testament to the purpose-driven culture we’re building at Orbia.” She praised the passion and creativity of employees who organized various events and rallied communities around the cause.

Following its success in 2024, Time4Water has become a flagship campaign for Orbia with plans extending into 2026. In alignment with its commitment to environmental responsibility, 67% of Orbia’s revenues supported solutions contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals in 2024.
