Orbia has received a silver award at the 2025 International CSR Excellence Awards for its Time4Water volunteering campaign. The recognition was announced on June 30, 2025, during a ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Jan van Rompay, Director of Global Sustainability at Orbia Building & Infrastructure, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The International CSR Excellence Awards honor companies that demonstrate responsibility and incorporate sustainability into their business practices. Orbia was recognized for its Time4Water initiative, which began in March 2024 to coincide with United Nations World Water Day. The campaign engaged more than 2,500 employees across over 30 countries and involved 120 projects focused on water stewardship. Activities included educational workshops, community cleanups, and awareness events.
Time4Water has become Orbia’s main volunteering program and is set to continue in 2025 with plans for further expansion in 2026.
“The recognition reinforces Orbia’s ongoing commitment to advancing life around the world,” according to the company.
