Orbia has opened a new technology hub in Pune, India, to expand its digital and IT capabilities and increase its presence in a key technology market. The center, called Orbia Pune, will focus on digital engineering, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure, data and analytics, and IT operations.
The new hub will work closely with Orbia’s global IT teams on projects involving digital platforms, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence. These efforts aim to create solutions and add value for Orbia’s businesses.
Orbia chose Pune for its large pool of experienced technology professionals, strong educational institutions, and reputation as a leading IT destination in India. The company believes that establishing a base in Pune will help accelerate its digital transformation while supporting the city’s growth as an innovation center.
Andrea Bergamini, Chief Information Officer at Orbia, said, “Progress depends on how well we connect talent, ideas and technology across borders and disciplines. With the launch of Orbia Pune, we are taking a step forward by building a hub where teams co-create value, deliver at scale and accelerate Orbia’s digital ambitions.”
Bergamini also stated, “India’s deep technology expertise and culture of innovation make it the right place for this next chapter—and we envision Orbia Pune becoming a magnet for world-class talent in the years to come.”
The office is now open and serves as a high-tech hub for Orbia and its businesses. More information about career opportunities can be found on the Orbia Pune LinkedIn page.
