INVO Bioscience said it was entering into a partnership with prominent medical doctors to bring its fertility drug to Mexico.

In the partnership, the doctors involved in the expansion will take part ownership in the Mexico development, with INVO Bioscience providing the treatment, training, and infrastructure necessary, the company said in a September news release.

“INVOcell is a truly remarkable technology that provides patients with an effective and affordable infertility solution,” Dr. Francisco Arredondo, one of the two Mexico-based doctors in the partnership, said in the release, “and one I believe can be administered by OBGYN’s thereby increasing the network of providers and the potential to increase patient access to this advanced infertility treatment.”

Though INVO Bioscience has had success with its flagship product, INVOCell, in North American markets, the company has yet to branch out into Mexico.

“We are extremely pleased to have INVO Centers entering this agreement with Dr. Arredondo and Positib Fertility to bring dedicated INVOcell clinics to Mexico. Dr. Arredondo has been a champion of INVOcell for nearly five years, having successfully operated centers offering INVOcell within the United States,” Steve Shum, CEO of INVO Bioscience, said in the release.

INVOCell is a proprietary treatment that helps increase fertility, the release said.
