GRUPO SALINAS: Banco Azteca and Banco Multiva agree to share their ATM networks

Grupo Salinas issued the following announcement on Jan. 21. 

Banco Azteca and Banco Multiva signed an agreement this day that allows them to share their respective ATM networks, so that their clients can make cash withdrawals in national currency, as well as inquiries from debit card balance.

The agreement was signed by Alejandro Valenzuela, General Director of Banco Azteca, and Carlos Soto, General Director of Banco Multiva.

Both managers expressed their pleasure in pointing out that the alliance benefits its clients, who can reliably dispose of their resources in a national network that expands to 1,457 ATMs, adding the 853 units of Banco Azteca to 604 of Banco Multiva .

Alejandro Valenzuela indicated that “this alliance strengthens our service levels and solves the cash disposal needs of our clients; with the signing of this agreement, the network of available ATMs, only for Banco Azteca’s clients, increases by 70% “.

For his part, Carlos Soto, General Director of Banco Multiva, said that “with this alliance we move forward in our goal of providing value-added services for our clients by providing a network of more than 3,000 ATMs nationwide”.
