Comision Federal de Electricidad issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.

The CFE, with the implementation of its protocols in the care of this type of emergencies, has concluded the restoration of supply to the affected users

CFE personnel are still making definitive repairs to the electrical infrastructure that was damaged and, in those cases where it was necessary, emergency plants have been installed while the repairs are being completed.

Hurricane Delta affected the electricity supply to 455,496 users in the states of Quintana Roo and Yucatán, which represents 27% of CFE’s total users in that region.

The CFE, with the implementation of its protocols in the care of this type of emergencies, has concluded the restoration of supply to the affected users, however, the staff is still making definitive repairs to the electrical infrastructure that was damaged and, in In those cases where it was necessary, emergency plants have been installed, while the repairs are completed.

1,306 electrical workers, 216 cranes, 331 vehicles, 1 helicopter, 51 emergency plants and 20 lighting towers participated in the restoration activities.
