Arca Continental, SAB de CV (BMV: AC *) (“Arca Continental” or “AC”), the second largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America, announced its results for the second quarter and accumulated to June 2018 (“2Q18” and “6M18”).
RELEVANT DATA FOR THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2018
Net sales increased 7.0% with respect to 2Q17, to Ps. 41,126 million.
EBITDA reached Ps. 7,540 million with a margin of 18.3%, an increase of 2.1% compared to the same quarter last year.
Net Income increased 30.6% to Ps. 2,678 million with a margin of 6.5%.
COMMENTARY OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL
“In the second quarter of the year, we achieved sales and net profit growth of 7% and 31%, respectively, thanks to the innovative execution approach at the point of sale and product portfolio, to better serve the needs of our customers. and consumers, combined with the deployment of price-packaging initiatives in most of our operations, which will have their greatest impact in the second half of this year, “said Francisco Garza Egloff, CEO of Arca Continental.
