Arca Continental S.A.B. de C.V. issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.
Arca Continental, SAB de CV, the second largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America, informs that its subsidiary AC Bebidas, S. de RL de CV has signed a purchase and sale agreement on this date. shares with Peru Beverage Limitada SRL, a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, through which it acquired 223,774,704 common shares of Corporación Lindley SA, with full voting rights and representing 38.52% of the common shares not listed in the Public Registry of the Market of Securities of the Superintendency of the Securities Market of Peru. As a result of the purchase of the shares, AC Bebidas has to date a participation equal to 99.78% of the voting shares of Corporación Lindley.
As a sole and total consideration for the sale, assignment and transfer of the aforementioned shares, AC Bebidas paid Peru Beverage Limitada US $ 506,813,895 in cash, equivalent to US $ 2.26 per share.
