As Aeromexico celebrates 10 years since adding Montreal, Canada to their destination route, the airline announces that they will be adding five weekly flights to the destination.

Presently, Aeromexico offers direct flights to Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto, and has partner airlines with over 30 Canadian destinations.

“We are very happy to celebrate these 10 years connecting Canada with Mexico and the rest of the region, as it has been a very important factor in the relationship between both countries, which will allow us to continue strengthening economic, tourist and cultural ties,” Michelle Martinson, Aeromexico’s Canada Sales Director, told Globe Newswire.

Aeromexico travels to 73 worldwide destinations in Canada, Central America, Europe, the United States, South America and Asia.

“YUL proudly welcomed a new airline into its family in 2010. Ten years later, we are celebrating the success of this route, which is a delight for business and leisure travelers from here and Mexico. At a time when the airline industry is an all-risk industry, it is important to highlight this accomplishment, which reflects the resilience, flexibility and adaptation to change of our partner, Aeromexico,” said Stéphanne Lapierre, Vice-President, Air Operations and Development, ADM Aéroports de Montréal.

Grupo Aeromexico, S.A.B. de C.V. has subsidiaries focused on commercial aviation in Mexico. The airline’s main hub is in Mexico City International Airport and the jets consist of Boeing 787 and 737 jet airliners and Embraer 190 models. Part of Skyteam Airline Alliance, Aeromexico serves 170 countries within the Skyteam Airline Alliance. The airline has taken safety and precaution measures during COVID-19 by implementing a Health and Sanitation Management System (HSMS).
