PEMEX: Pemex participates in the International Oil Exhibition and Conference ADIPEC 2018, in Abu Dhabi

Pemex issued the following announcement on Nov. 9.

As part of the business strategy of Petróleos Mexicanos, its CEO, Carlos Treviño, travels today to the city of Abu Dhabi, where he will participate in the ADIPEC 2018 International Oil Conference and Exhibition, which will take place in the capital of the Emirates. United Arabes

This is considered the most important and influential forum of the oil and gas industry worldwide, bringing together experts and industry stakeholders to share experiences. In the event, which will take place from November 12 to 15, there is a call for more than 2,200 companies and about 110 thousand attendees.

The participation of Pemex in this global meeting aims to establish business links with companies that are interested in investing in Mexico.

The meeting will also be attended by Javier Hinojosa Puebla, general director of Pemex Exploration and Production (PEP), José Antonio Escalera, director of Exploration, Ulises Hernández, director of Resources, Reservations and Strategic Alliances, and Rodrigo Becerra Mizuno, corporate director of Technology of the Information.

This is the second time that the State's productive company attends this meeting to reinforce the confidence that Pemex has earned with its peers internationally.

In 2017, when it participated for the first time, meetings were held with several international companies, among them, for example, the Compañía Española de Petróleo SA (CEPSA), owned by Mubadala Investment Company , the sovereign investment fund of the United Arab Emirates and one of the largest in the world.

This relationship was consolidated with the joint participation in Round 3.1 of shallow waters, where blocks 16, 17 and 18, located in the Tampico-Misantla Basin, were won and adjudicated.

ADIPEC 2018 is an opportunity to endorse the dialogue and alliances with some oil companies with a global presence, with the sole purpose of strengthening Petróleos Mexicanos through new business schemes.
