Arca Continental SAB de CV (BMV: AC), one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, was ratified in the FTSE4Good Emerging Index, of the Spanish Stock Exchange. London, index that lists the public companies of the world that demonstrate a strong commitment to the best environmental, social and corporate governance practices worldwide.
The FTSE4Good indices group the leading companies in the performance of various transcendental areas, ranging from the management and protection of ethics and transparency, the protection of human rights, to the commitment to the development of society and its collaborators, as well as the protection and preservation of the environment.
From a list of 164 environmental, social and corporate governance indicators evaluated by the FTSE, Arca Continental obtained a score higher than the average for the consumer products sector, which places it among the best evaluated food and beverage companies worldwide [ 1].
In addition to being included in the FSTE4Good, Arca Continental has been part of the MSCI Global Sustainability Indexes since 2014 and has been a founding company in the Sustainable Index of the Mexican Stock Exchange since 2011, and has been ratified for 15 consecutive years as a Socially Responsible Company by part of the Mexican Center for Philanthropy.
Arca Continental reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility by incorporating international best practices into its strategy and performance, which is why several organizations have recognized it.
