GRUPO BIMBO: Daniel Servitje, President and CEO of Grupo Bimbo, chosen as one of the most inspiring leaders in Mexico

Grupo Bimbo issued the following announcement on July 12.

The social and literary platform, Those Who Inspire, chose Daniel Servitje, President and CEO of Grupo Bimbo, as one of the Mexican leaders with the most positive influence and motivating impact on young people in Mexico and the world.

The book, which publishes a short edition inspired by stories of successful Mexicans in different spheres such as sports, business, and culture, has highlighted Daniel Servitje as a practical leader and an optimist, with a business aptitude, who is concerned about sustainability and, above all, has a deep love for Mexico.

Those Who Inspire shares Daniel's experience during the years that led to him becoming President of Grupo Bimbo. Don Lorenzo Servitje, Founder of the Group, was a great influence for him, who, besides being his father, acted as a teacher: "My father had a profound influence on me. He taught us to be centered, sensitive to the social reality of the country, and to find a way to improve it.”

In regards to success and recommendations for young entrepreneurs, Daniel Servitje commented:

“The key to success lies in the combination of doing and learning. To be a successful entrepreneur you need to be optimistic and proactive. I hope you remember me for what I have done to help others achieve their dreams. We are here to impact lives and I hope to have a positive effect.”

The text details the purpose of Grupo Bimbo and the actions it carries out every day to build a sustainable, highly productive, and fully humane enterprise. These attributes have laid the foundations for Grupo Bimbo to be twice considered the only Mexican firm in the list of the most ethical companies in the world, organized by The Ethisphere Institute.

Those Who Inspire originates from Paris, France, and for four years it has compiled, through interviews, a profile of the most outstanding personalities from different countries, for the purpose of boldly encouraging millennials to pursue their dreams, believe in themselves, and help them find role models and reliable mentors in their own country.
